The independent investigation has since reported no conclusive evidence that Bomba’s actions during medical examinations were sexually motivated, although the plaintiffs’ attorneys strongly contest this characterization.
Several former players, including Haris Mujezinovic, have come forward, claiming systemic abuse that they allege IU officials ignored. Their legal representatives argue that the university facilitated a culture of silence around the misconduct. Mujezinovic’s claims are now part of a lawsuit against IU’s trustees, with demands for significant reparations.
