INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Indians are set to close out their home stand with an exciting Father’s Day celebration at Victory Field on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m., coinciding with a weekend dedicated to showcasing top prospects.
Families can take advantage of a special offer, as children aged 14 and under will receive complimentary meals, which include a hot dog, chips, and a Prairie Farms milk, with the price of admission. The team will also don unique “Young Bucs” jerseys, highlighting their affiliation with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on these game-worn jerseys as part of the festivities.
“This weekend is a significant one for us as we celebrate our connection with Pittsburgh,” said Anna Kayser, the Indians’ Director of Communications. She emphasized the importance of Father’s Day, expressing hopes that families will choose to spend the day together at the ballpark.
