Tom Cruise was one of the notable celebrity guests at Oasis’ highly anticipated comeback gig on July 25 at Wembley Stadium, marking the band’s first reunion in 16 years. The Mission: Impossible star, 63, joined 90,000 fans to witness the long-awaited performance by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.
Cruise was seen enjoying the concert from a seated area alongside rapper Goldie, who even shared a selfie with the Hollywood icon. Other stars in attendance included presenter Fearne Cotton, DJ Goldie, and pop sensation Dua Lipa, who was spotted mingling with Noel’s daughter, Anaïs Gallagher, in the VIP section. The night’s vibrant atmosphere was highlighted when Anaïs shared a video of herself singing along with Lipa to the classic “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
Cotton took to Instagram to express her excitement about the night, describing it as "magic" and praising Liam’s flamboyant stage presence and Noel’s captivating solo performance. "A night I won’t forget,” she declared.
The reunion concert sparked discussions over ticket prices, which soared due to "dynamic pricing," prompting the Competition and Markets Authority to investigate these practices.
This concert marked the first time the Gallagher brothers performed together at Wembley since their 2009 tour. The show opened with the hit “Hello” and featured numerous classics, including “Some Might Say” and “Wonderwall.” The band plan to continue their tour with additional dates in Edinburgh and Dublin and will later head to Japan, South Korea, and beyond.
Oasis announced their reunion tour in August 2022, following a dramatic split in 2009 after a backstage dispute. With the band back together, fans are eagerly anticipating more unforgettable performances.
