An Indianapolis man, Howard Taylor Moffitt, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for the fatal shooting of Anthony Drummer last summer near the American Legion Mall. Moffitt, convicted of murder in June, was also deemed a habitual offender, adding eight years to his sentence. The incident occurred in downtown Indianapolis, where Moffitt admitted to shooting Drummer in the head. The murder weapon was found in Moffitt’s backpack, confirmed by forensic testing.
