The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department successfully located a stolen vehicle with two infant girls in the backseat on Monday. The children, aged 4 and 5 months, were found safe after the vehicle was last seen in the 1800 block of Gimber Street. The police department had initially announced the car theft and kidnapping around 11:30 a.m. The specifics of where the children were found or what led to the kidnapping were not disclosed. However, the children were found unharmed just after noon, thanks to the efforts of the IMPD. Pictures of the children and the stolen vehicle were provided by the IMPD in hopes of gathering information from the public. The police department encouraged anyone with information about the kidnapping to come forward and assist in the investigation. Thankfully, the children were located swiftly and unharmed, thanks to the quick action of the Indianapolis police.
