Wabash Wrestlers Shine at Indiana Little State Tournament
Wabash College wrestlers had a strong showing at the 2024 Indiana Little State Wrestling Tournament, with eight top-eight finishes and one individual title. Junior James Day secured the 133-pound title with a flawless 4-0 performance, while Titus Waters finished in second place at 285 pounds. Jaylen Young claimed third place in the 174-pound bracket, and Mawuli Nevis earned a fourth-place finish at 165 pounds.
Andrew Ross took fifth place at 149 pounds, while Andrew Punzalan and Mason Weyant secured seventh and eighth place finishes, respectively. Zachary Huckaby also captured an eighth-place finish at 174 pounds.
The team will continue their season at the 60th annual North Central College Invitational on December 14th. Overall, the Wabash College wrestling team showcased their skill and determination at the Indiana Little State Tournament, demonstrating their potential for success in the upcoming competitions.
