Westfield, Indiana is considering the creation of a Professional Sports Development Area (PSDA) to generate new tax revenue that will be reinvested into the Grand Park District. The revenue generated will be used to improve sports infrastructure, build hotels and restaurants, and develop commercial properties in Westfield. City Council President Patrick Tamm sees the PSDA as a key element in transforming the area into a thriving district that attracts professional teams, events, and visitors from around the world. The city recently unveiled a master plan to expand the Grand Park Sports Campus, which will include the construction of a new 10,000-seat stadium.
